oh dear…

As an artist, I realize human’s potential beauty on both the inside and the outside. In all honestly, I believe that outside beauty is no where near as valuable as inside beauty. How we behave, interact, and how we express our feelings, beliefs, and opinions define who we are as humans more so than our appearance.

When an artist chooses a model for their artwork, they typically do not choose the reference based on how perfect the person looks. Flaws are what make us each unique and, more often, perfect-looking people are not quite as appealing. For example, a person with a strong, confident expression is more beautiful than a person who resembles a doll.

It’s important to realize this before we judge people… a cheerleader (not entirely a stereotype) at our school may treat a not-sporty, plain-dressed person with least respect and appreciation than a well-built basketball player with nice hair.
…a girl may flirt with a guy soley because of his looks, and not because of his interests, personality, or attitude

Sometimes it becomes rather saddening when we come across these instances.  Love and friendship is so much deeper than the person’s looks or social status. I know that’s pretty cliche, but there are so many people who fail to realize that.

….why is that?
